Lovers Lane Studios is a Recording, Dance & Fitness Complex in the Centre of Historic Dumfries, South West Scotland.
Lovers Lane was opened as a Multitrack Recording Studio by Andrew Henderson in the mid 1980s and originally ran from the family home on Lovers Walk.
Reopened in 2001 by son, Grant Christian Henderson in the same location, Lovers Lane Studios became a popular haunt for local bands and artists from all over the region and further afield.
With growing popularity came the need to expand the premises, and in 2014 the former Loreburn St John's School in Rae Street, still within eyeshot of the original Lovers Walk address, became the new home of Lovers Lane Studios.
The building is home to our Recording, Rehearsal, Dance & Fitness Studios as well as various undeveloped spaces ready for future creative projects.
We are also proud to house Dumfries & Galloway's first Nia Studio, run by certified Nia Blue Belt Instructor, Lucy Rose Donovan.
